Tulfarris Hotel Wedding - Lauren & Jordan's Wedding
Tulfarris Hotel
Tulfarris Hotel Wedding - Lauren & Jordan's Wedding. The wedding ceremony and reception took place in Tulfarris hotel, Blessington, Co. Wicklow, on a warm September afternoon.
Tulfarris Hotel is one of my favourite locations to photograph a wedding. Tulfarris is a venue that I call a 'not worried about the weather' venue, as it has beauty indoors and outdoors all over the property. And I am always delighted to return to this stunning location.
Tulfarris Civil Ceremony
I first met Lauren and Jordan for their engagement shoot, and I knew this was going to be a loved up, and fun wedding. Lauren is a fantastic make up artist, and works in the wedding industry herself, and it was an honour to be asked to photograph her wedding. She meets photographers all the time, so I am delighted she choose me.
Tulfarris Hotel Wedding - Lauren & Jordan's Wedding
Lauren had the beautiful rooms is the Manor House in Tulfarris for her preparation photographs, while Jordan was just a stones throw away in the hotel. This is a brilliant idea, as it allows me to photograph both the bride and grooms preparations. A short walk to the ceremony room in Tulfarris meant no cars were needed.
After a beautiful ceremony, we walked the grounds of the hotel for 15 minutes to capture some stunning photographs. When I entered the reception room, I was blown away by how stunning it was. Lauren had put her DIY craft skills to great use, and really changed how the room looked.
Thank you to Lauren & Jordan. A great couple.

Adare Wedding - Grace & Keith
Grace & Keith were married recently in the Dunraven Arms Hotel, in Adare, Co. Limerick. Everything about this wedding was perfect. The venue, the flowers, the cake, the music, the couple.
They both got ready in the hotel, married in the hotel, and partied in the hotel, so there was no need for cars on the day. We walked around the Adare for the photographs, to the sound of every passing car honking for the couple!!
Make up on the day was by Caroline Coyne, Grace's sister. So not only did she have to get everyone ready, she was a bridesmaid too!! Hair stylist was the brilliant Natalie O'Brien. The music for the ceremony was by the Corrib String Quartet, and as always they were fantastic. A full list of suppliers from Band to bridesmaid dresses is listed below the photos for all the couples planning their big day.
I want to share just a few photos from their big day, and say thank you for having me as your photographer Grace & Keith, although I felt more like a guest.
Please feel free to hit the like button, and share button at the bottom of the post. And if you like leave a comment.

Ballymagarvey Village - Kelley & Stuart
Today I feature a wedding from 2013, which took place in the amazing Ballymagarvey Village in Co.Meath.
From start to finish I felt like a guest at this wedding. It was like meeting up with old friends, as I knew Kelley from her sisters wedding (Orla) which took place in 2011, at which Kelley was the Chief Bridesmaid.
Both Kelley & Stuart got ready in the same hotel, just up the road from Ballymagarvey, in Ashbourne. So there was a little ducking and diving to be done to make sure they didn’t see each other in the corridors! But it made life so easy for me, as I was able to photograph them both getting ready, only rooms apart. Two of The Powder Room Girls, Sandra & Nikki, were there to make sure Kelley & co looked amazing, and as always, they had them ready for lots of time to spare.
I also have to give a special mention to 2 companies. The first is The Little Cake Company - Aoibheann O'Toole, for creating one of the most amazing wedding cakes I have ever seen, and to Ronan Quinn, one of the easiest wedding videographers in Ireland to work with. He creates amazing wedding videos, and is an absolute joy to hang out with at any wedding.
The Civil Ceremony also took place in Ballymagarvey, and it looked amazing. Not only did Nikki Kavanagh do the stunning make up, she also sang for the ceremony, and as always it was flawless. Once the emotional ceremony was over we quickly photographed the families, so they were free for the rest of the day. Then the entire bridal party and I spent 20 minutes together to photograph a few formals and fun photos.
For the rest of the day I just hung out and candidly photographed all the guests having the time go their lives. Ultrasound, one of the best wedding bands in Ireland, made sure of that.
So thank you once again to Kelley & Stuart for including/inviting me to be part of your wedding. I look forward to seeing you both soon, at the next wedding your family has booked me for!!
