Dunraven Arms Hotel - Adare, Co. Limerick
Todays feature on my blog is the wedding of Yvonne & Joe. This wedding was featured on Applepress.com last week, but I have decided to feature it because there were so many beautiful photos left out, that I personally love. This wedding took place on one of the hottest days last year, and I really don't know how the lads survived the day in their suits. Thank god for Adare Farm Ice Cream outside the church!!
I arrived on the morning of the wedding to a great welcome, in an amazing house. Rhona from the Powder Room Girls was there doing her stuff, hers is a very familiar face at weddings. I also met Shaunie from The Greene Room Hair Salon, and Leo Costello Videographer. After an hour in the house photographing everyone getting ready, it was time to shoot down to the church to meet the boys. Hot on my heals was Yvonne, keen to get up the aisle of Garraunboy Church, Killaloe.
The local priest got things moving quickly, I think he was afraid the guests would faint with the heat. After an Ice Cream or two, we headed to the banks of the river Shannon for the photographs with the bridal party, and onto the abbey in Adare.
It was my first time in the Dunraven Arms Hotel in Adare, and we received a fantastic welcome. The day ended as it started, with plenty of laughter. I brilliant wedding from start to finish. Thank you to Yvonne & Joe for a memorable day.
